Built for counselors who care

Areté was born from watching brilliant counselors waste hours updating spreadsheets, juggling WhatsApp messages, and searching email for that one document a parent sent three months ago. The students who needed attention were getting process instead.

The name Areté (ah-reh-TAY) is Greek for “excellence” — the pursuit of being the best version of yourself. That is exactly what great counselors help students achieve. We built Areté so counselors can spend their time on that pursuit, not on logistics.

Areté is currently in early access, built in close collaboration with working counselors. Every feature exists because a counselor needed it, not because a product team imagined it.
